Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name through her appearances on TV. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Then she began moving to Texas where she began pursuing a physical therapy career with the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and soon made the move towards Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. Even though she was only able to fill small parts, she began to realize her love for acting. After 2001, she relocated in New York where her first appearance was on the All My Kids' daytime soap-opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000 she appeared in smaller roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The year 2004 saw her landing her first major series role on the drama short-lived The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate to appear alongside a number of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She appeared on Law & Order in 2006. played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The particular character garnered De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a frequent role on CSI Miami a few moments later. She appeared as Marisol Deko as the husband of David Caruso's portrayer Horatio Caine. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. It was put on hold after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is ten years older than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano's first professional experience began at seven, after her child's sitter took the girl to an audition. With more than 1000 applicants they were selected among only four. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the first American musical performance of Jane Eyre.
